Kim Ito is a teacher in SD23, Central Okanagan, who recently moved from teaching Kindergarten to middle school. Kim has taught as a classroom teacher, as well as a LAT and Resource teacher in K-8 settings. She has presented within SD23 and provincially on a variety of mathematical topics, as well as taught as an adjunct professor at UBC-O. Her passion is making math relevant, understanding the "why," and helping students and colleagues see the beauty in numbers and mathematical concepts.
